The Walter L. Aument Family Health Center is the family practice center for Lancaster General Hospital's Family Practice Residency Program. During the last two years of the program, the resident-physician spends much of their time caring for patients at the Center under the guidance of experienced, board-certified family physicians who are on staff at the Center. The Walter L. Aument Family Health Center offers a variety of services including:

• Maternity Care
  
• Emergency care
  
• Laboratory, including pre-admission testing
  
• X-Rays
  
• Social worker
  
• A licensed clinical psychologist

In addition, a wide variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including EKGs, breathing tests, hearing tests, treadmill stress testing, sigmoidoscopy and tympanometry are done at the health center. Minor surgical procedures are performed frequently, and fractures can be casted if necessary.
