John Yelcick, MD
 
Dr. Yelcick has served as the Medical Director of the Laboratory at Lancaster General Hospital since 2005. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in biology, and Temple University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey where he served as chief resident. He completed a fellowship in surgical pathology at the University of Pennsylvania, where he also served as a member of the medical staff and as an instructor in the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
 

 
Ashraf Abou-Elella, MD
 
Dr. Abou-Elella is a graduate of Cairo University School of Medicine and Cairo University in Egypt, where he also completed his internship and residency in clinical pathology. He also completed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, before beginning his fellowship in hematopathology at University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Abou-Elella is a diplomate with The American Board of Pathology in combined anatomic and clinical pathology as well as the subspecialty of hematology. He has served as an assistant professor of pathology at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Dr.  Abou-Elella is a member of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathologists and Society for Hematopathology.
 

 
Christopher H. Anthony, MD, FCAP
 
Dr. Anthony is a graduate of Michigan State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. He earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. Dr. Anthony completed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and his fellowship in surgical pathology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, N.Y. He is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology by the American Board of Pathology and is a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Pathologists. Dr. Anthony is also a fellow of the College of American Pathologists and American Society for Clinical Pathology.
 

 
Susan Mary Bator, MD
 
Dr. Bator is the Medical Director of the Blood Bank at Lancaster General Hospital as well as a staff pathologist. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from the College of St. Elizabeth in N.J., completed a master’s degress in physiology at Georgetown University, and obtained her medical degree from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Bator completed her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. After residency, she had additional training in surgical pathology and cytology at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. Dr. Bator then completed a fellowship in blood banking/transfusion medicine as a Cardez fellow at Jefferson Medical College/Penn Jersey American Red Cross. Dr. Bator is a diplomat with the American Board of Pathology in anatomic and clinical pathology with special qualification in blood banking/transfusion medicine. She is also a member of the College of American Pathologists and American Association of Blood Banks.
 

 
James T. Eastman, III, MD
 
Dr. Eastman has served as the Chief of Microbiology, Immunology and Allergy at Lancaster General Hospital since 1978. He has special interest in microbiology and infectious disease and neuropathology. Dr. Eastman has taught at Bloomsburg University, College Misercordia, Elizabethtown College, Millersville University and many other colleges and universities. He graduated from Kenyon College in Ohio with a bachelor of arts degree in chemistry and received his medical degree from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed both his internship and pathology residency at Good Samaritan Hospital & Medical Center in Oregon. Dr. Eastman is a diplomate with the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Pathology.
 

 
Ronald T. Grenko, MD
 
Dr. Grenko is a graduate of Western Kentucky University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in biology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Dr. Grenko completed his residency in pathology at the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont and his cytopathology fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. He served two years on staff at the University Hospital in Linkoping, Sweden, then 12 years at Penn State’s Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Dr. Grenko is a diplomat with the American Board of Pathology and has an added qualification in cytopathology. He is a member of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology, the International Society of Breast Pathologists, Papanicolaou Society and College of American Pathologists.
 

 
Debra Grove-Mahoney, MD
 
Dr. Grove-Mahoney is the Medical Director of the Cytopathology Division at Lancaster General as well as a staff pathologist. Dr. Grove-Mahoney earned her bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University, Youngstown, Ohio, and her medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities’ College of Medicine. She completed her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., and her fellowship in cytopathology at Lankenau Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Grove-Mahoney is board certified in combined anatomic and clinical pathology, with an added qualification in cytopathology. She is a fellow of the College of American Pathologists and the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
 

 
Bruce E. King, MD
 
Dr. King is the Director of Hematology at Lancaster General Hospital as well as a staff pathologist. He is a graduate of Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Va., where he earned his bachelor’s degree in biology. He earned his medical degree from Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. King completed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Medical Center Hospital of Vermont, Fletcher Allen Health Care, and his fellowship in hematopathology at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He has taught classes at Medical Center Hospital of Vermont, Fletcher Allen Health Care and Rockingham Memorial Hospital School of Medical Technology in Harrisonburg, Va. Dr. King is certified by the American Board of Pathology, American Society of Clinical Pathologists and National Certification Agency. He is also a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, College of American Pathologists and American Society of Hematology.
 

 
Charles F. Romberger, MD
 
Dr. Romberger is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in biophysics. He earned his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. Dr. Romberger completed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics and his fellowship with University of Minnesota Hospitals and Clinics. He has taught classes at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, N.J. Dr. Romberger is a diplomate with the American Board of Pathology with an added qualification certification in cytopathology and a diplomate in immunopathology. He is also a fellow with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, a fellow and inspector with the College of American Pathologists as well as a member of the American Society for Investigative Pathology, Association for Molecular Pathology; New Jersey Society of Pathologists and International Society of Dermatopathology.
