Emergencies
A physician is on-call at all times. If you have a life- threatening emergency, call 911 immediately. For other urgent healthcare needs, call us at (717) 898-2413. If our office is closed, our answering service will notify the on-call physician. If you do not receive a return call within 15 minutes, please call the office again.
Cancellations
If you cannot keep a scheduled appointment, please notify us 24 hours in advance, or as soon as possible. This allows us to offer the appointment time to another patient.
Prescription Refills
If you need a refill for a medication prescribed by our physicians, please call the office. You will need to provide your name with spelling, your date of birth, medication name with spelling, dosage and the name of the pharmacy you plan to use. On occasion, you will be notified that you need to schedule an office visit before a prescription can be reissued or extended. Please allow 48 hours for us to call the prescription into the pharmacy. You can also complete our online prescription refill request form.
Referrals
Some insurance plans require a physician referral before you can see a specialist or preauthorization before a test or procedure is performed. Please give us at least 72 hours to prepare the necessary paperwork.
Insurance
Landisville Family Health Center participates with most major insurance and many local managed care plans (HMO’s), as well as Medical Assistance and Medicare. Please bring your insurance card(s) to each office visit. You are responsible for the deductibles and co-payments associated with your insurance plan.
