Internship Opportunities

The Lancaster General Research Institute offers summer internship opportunities to students interested in gaining experience in research. The number of internships available each summer depends on the amount of studies in progress, which can vary from year to year. Student interns will perform a multitude of tasks including data collection, data entry and statistical analysis. In addition to providing research work experience, we strongly encourage our interns to shadow physicians in specialties of their choice during their internship. Overall, it is our goal to provide interns with general research experiences that will provide them with an understanding of how research is executed in a hospital setting and provide them with a research foundation that will be helpful in their future studies and careers.
