Curious about the cost of a particular medical procedure or test? You can call our automated Price Estimate Phone Line at (717) 544-7961 to request a quote for any medical services to be performed at Lancaster General Hospital. To receive your estimate, please include your name, phone number, the CPT code for the procedure and a brief description of the procedure. The CPT code is very important because it helps us provide an accurate estimate of charges. If you do not already have the CPT code, please contact your physician’s office for that information.After receiving your message, a hospital representative will get back to you with your estimate. Please allow two business days to process your request.
Wellness Classes Enhance Life
For the answers to life’s health-related questions, turn to the Lancaster General Wellness Center. Our friendly experts offer results-oriented programs to help enhance every stage of life. Programs include childbirth education, parenting, stress management, smoking cessation, weight management, journaling, menopause education and more. Our educators work with you to develop skills for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Some insurance carriers may even cover the cost of the classes. Please check with your insurer for details. Aetna & Lancaster General Hospital Sign Agreement
Aetna health insurance and Lancaster General Hospital signed a multi-year, full-service agreement for commercial products effective July 1, 2005. This enables most Aetna members to access LGH as a participating hospital in Aetna’s networks. The agreement does not apply to those enrolled in Aetna’s plans associated with Medicare. Accent Reduction Program
If you are interested in reducing your accent, the Lancaster General Accent Reduction Program may be able to help. Licensed speech pathologists use the Compton P-ESL® (Pronouncing English as a Second Language) model to help you reduce your accent or dialect by at least 50-60 percent. Many business people, physicians, educators and other professionals use this program to improve their business, informal and social speaking skills. Individualized classes and group programs are available. Classes are held once a week for 7-13 weeks. For more information, call (717) 544-3103.
