Have you ever forgotten where you put your car keys or eyeglasses? Have you ever walked into a room and wondered why you went there in the first place?

 

While most healthy adults have experienced these “normal” memory lapses, some memory problems can signify something more serious.

 

The Lancaster General Memory Disorders Program is offering a free memory screening on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2004 from 9 a.m.-noon and from 1:30-4 p.m. at the Lancaster General Health Campus.

 

In addition to the screenings, Drs. Jon Bentz and Edward Purzycki will present a lecture on memory loss from 10-11 a.m. and 2-3 p.m. Participants can register for either the morning or afternoon screening and/or lecture by calling 544-3170.
