Women’s Health 2000 & Beyond, a course for women, is now accepting applications for its 2006-2007 class. Women’s Health 2000 & Beyond is a course designed to train, develop andenhance women’s knowledge and understanding of specific health issues.
Women’s Health 2000 & Beyond challenges women from diverse backgrounds to assume an effective more active volunteer role in educating women about their health.

There is no application fee.

Please return completed application by August 31, 2006.

Selection for the class will be based upon the information contained in the completed application.

The class will be made up of 35 women. Since class size is limited, applicants who are not selected are encouraged to reapply in subsequent years.

Graduation from the class does not signify the end, but represents the beginning of a lifetime of opportunity as a committed volunteer community leader. It is expected that alumni, as trustees of our community, will go forth and become active educators in women’s health in a personal and/or professional involvement.

Courses are held one evening a month, September through May. The dates typically chosen are the second Tuesday of each month. The course will be held at Lancaster General Women & Babies Hospital, 690 Good Drive, Lancaster.
