Lancaster General Hospital:

Cafeteria Hours:

Lancaster General Hospital:

  • Monday - Friday -- 6:00am - 8:00pm, Weekends and Holidays -- 6:00am - 7:00pm
  • Hot Food is served daily from 11am - 2pm and again from 4pm - 7pm

Lancaster General Women & Babies Hospital Great Expectations Café:

  • Monday – Saturday --7:30am – 7:30pm, Holidays & Sundays--9:00am – 5:00pm
  • Hot Food is served daily from 11am – 2pm and again from 4pm – 7pm(Sundays & Holidays, 11am-4:45pm)

Rest is an important part of the patient's recuperation. Visitors must observe the following regulations:
  • Maximum of two visitors at a time.
  • Limit visits to 10 minutes
  • Children must have adult supervision. (Children are restricted from Critical Care areas - 2nd, 5th & 6th floors)

Normal Visiting Hours:

  • 1:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Special Care Visiting Hours:
ICU and Intermediate Intensive Care Units:
  • Open 24 hours/day. Closed 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. Immediate family only, children must be 12 years old.

Trauma/Neuro Unit:

  • Open 24 hours/day. Closed 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each day. Immediate family only, children must be 12 years old.

Cardiology (5th floor & 6th floor):

  • 1:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., children must be 12 years old.

Pediatric Center:

  • 1:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., except for parents and immediate family.

Mental Health Unit:

  • 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Weekends and Holidays. Children must be 12 years old and people may visit only if given permission from the floor.

Rehabilitation Unit:

  • 4 p.m.To 8:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and 1 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Weekends.

Hospice (VNA & Hospice of Lanc.) Patients:

    24 hours a day unless otherwise requested by the patient.

      Lancaster General Women & Babies Hospital:

      Visitation is not restricted in the Family Pavilion but we encourage visitors to limit how long they visit so that mother and baby have adequate time to rest and bond.
