Office Hours
Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, except on company holidays. An on-call nurse is available 24 hours a day to accept patient calls, referrals for service and arrange services for urgent patient needs.
On Call Guidelines
If you have an URGENT CLINICAL NEED after office hours, you can reach the on-call nurse by calling our office. An answering service will take your name and telephone number and the nurse will be paged. The nurse will return your call and answer any questions you may have. In order to better assist you, we request that you contact us during office hours for questions related to your visit schedule or to order routine supplies.
If you are experiencing one of these LIFE THREATENING EMERGENCIES, please call 911 or your physician immediately or arrange to go to the hospital emergency room. The Reading Hospital Home Care does not operate as an emergency service; therefore valuable time may be lost by contacting the agency if a medical emergency occurs.
- severe bleeding
- chest pain
- sudden and extreme shortness of breath
- sudden loss of vision/movement/speech
- a fall with injury such as bleeding or inability to move without severe pain
- unconsciousness
