Growing Together
Mother-daughter relationships can undergo big changes during the teen years. To help mothers and their daughters make the most of this exciting, but often challenging time, Lancaster General developed “Growing Together.” It’s designed for mothers and their daughters between the ages of 9-12.
Conducted in a supportive setting, the program offers mothers and daughters a chance to develop their relationship as they learn about the changes coming their way. A medical professional leads the informative and fun 2-hour program, which touches on emotions, development, relationships, self-esteem, confidence, respect, communication and conflict resolution.
Lancaster General offers “Growing Together” as a free community service to interested school districts. For more information or to schedule a “Growing Together” program for your school, call Karen Heinle at 544-3650.
