Speakers Bureau
To schedule a presentation, please contact the Wellness Center at (717) 544-3138. To ensure staff availability, we require a minimum of 30 days notice.
 
At Lancaster General Hospital we welcome the opportunity to share our knowledge, experience and caring with the community.

That’s why we’ve created a Speakers Bureau of knowledgeable professionals to provide credible, up-to-date information on healthcare and healthcare-related issues to your non-profit group, free of charge.

Our staff is available to talk to your support group, civic association, religious institution or other non-profit group about a host of topics. 

Speakers Bureau presentations are typically 20 minutes in length, followed by about 10 minutes of audience questions. 

Topics provided by our knowledgeable staff:

Women's Health
Learn about healthcare issues specific to women. Topics include heart disease, fibromyalgia, breast cancer or other topic of concern to your group.

Men's Health
Learn about healthcare issues specific to men. Topics include prostate cancer, stoke, orthopedics or other topic of concern to your group.

Childhood Obesity
One in every five children in the United States is obese. Learn about this alarming trend and what you can do to help your child lead a healthy life.

Physical Fitness
Exercise is important at every age. Learn some simple exercises you can do anywhere and how exercise can prevent illness and improve health.
