All media inquiries concerning any department or organization of Lancaster General system must be directed to the Community Relations Department so that answers can be obtained through authoritative sources which eliminate delays and misunderstandings.

All contacts with the media are to be released by the Director of Community Relations, or other individuals designated by the Senior Vice President of Business Development or by the Office of the President, Lancaster General.

The Community Relations Department should authorize all statements, written or oral, and photographs, medical or non-medical, released to the news media by the administrative and medical staffs. A written release, supplied by the Community Relations Department, is required for all patient interviews and photographs by the media.
