Lancaster General Health has access to some of the country’s most advanced X-ray, MRI, mammograms and CT scanners to examine the body to determine the presence and nature of medical conditions and diseases. These tools produce images of the sections of the body being examined. In turn, these images assist physicians in determining the proper course of treatment to achieve the best outcomes.

The PET scanner and R2 Imagechecker are two additional tools that greatly enhance Lancaster General Health’s diagnostic imaging capabilities.
