Welcome to Lancaster General's virtual tours. Below are selections from the Lancaster General Women & Babies Hospital. Soon we will be adding tours of the Health Campus including Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the Women's Health Center, and a cardiac catherization room.
The Reception Pavilion
Visitors enter The Women & Babies Hospital through the Reception Pavilion. Our knowledgeable receptionists are trained to answer questions and provide directions. The spacious lobby serves as a comfortable meeting place for family and friends. A cafe, gift shop, landscaped courtyards and children's play areas are located nearby.
Labor and Delivery Room
Laboring women and their families feel comfortable and at home in our labor and delivery rooms. The rooms are large enough to accommodate family members and friends invited to share in the birth. Each room is well-appointed and includes a chair that pulls out into a bed for Dad.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
The Women & Babies Hospital is home to Lancaster County's only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for the care of premature and ill newborns. Our highly trained, compassionate NICU staff uses the latest technology and treatment techniques to care for our youngest of patients. The unit is designed so parents can spend time with their babies in a setting that's comfortable and private.
