Keith Bitner, M. Div., Board Certified Chaplain Director Keith started as Associate Chaplain at LGH in 1982 and became director of the department in 1998. He received a B.A. from Barrington College and his M.Div. from Drew University School of Theology. Keith completed a residency in Clinical Pastoral Education at Altoona General. An ordained United Methodist minister, he served as pastor in Altoona for ten years before coming to Lancaster General. Keith is a Board Certified Chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains, Inc. |

Keith Espenshade, M. Div., CPE Supervisor, ACPE Clinical Supervisor / Chaplain Keith came to LGH in 1998 to supervise the Clinical Pastoral Education program. His educational training includes a B.A. from Messiah College and a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Illinois. He is ordained by the Mennonite Church, and is an ACPE-certified CPE Supervisor. He served churches in Chicago and Allentown, completed a chaplain residency at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, PA, and was a chaplain/supervisor-in-training at a retirement community in Gaithersburg, MD. While in Allentown, he also served as a volunteer police chaplain. |

Peter Jupin, MSW, LSW Staff Chaplain Pete has been employed at Lancaster General since 1987, serving in Social Work, Mental Health, and the Employee Assistance Program. He received his B.S. from the University of Pittsburgh and his M.S.W. from Temple University and is a licensed social worker in the state of Pennsylvania. Pete is continuing his Clinical Pastoral Education and is presently an Aspirant for the Diaconate in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Harrisburg. |

Elizabeth Watson-Martin, M.Div., Board Certified Chaplain, CPE Supervisor, ACPE Elizabeth joined Lancaster General in 2008 as a CPE supervisor. She received her Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and completed Methodist study courses at Brite Divinity School. She is ordained in the Baptist and United Methodist Church. She is a certified counselor with Resolve through Sharing, a grief support program for parents who have lost infant children. She completed her CPE supervisory training at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, TX. Prior to coming to Lancaster she served as a chaplain and as a CPE supervisor in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. |

Carolanne Hauck, MA, Board Certified Chaplain Chaplain, Women & Babies Hospital Carolanne has been employed by Lancaster General since 1998. She provided Pastoral Care to patients and staff at the former Susquehanna Division Hospital before joining the staff of Women and Babies in 2002. Carolanne received a BA in psychology from Millersville University and graduated Chestnut Hill College with a MA in Holistic Spirituality with a concentration in Healthcare. She completed two units of Clinical Pastoral Education at Philhaven and two units at Lancaster General Hospital. Carolanne serves on the Board of Directors for Share of Lancaster County. |

Kelly Kleckner Department Secretary Kelly is a graduate of Hempfield High School and the Central Penn Business School with an Associate in Specialized Business Degree. She has been with Lancaster General since 1989. |

Lynne Ferguson CPE Chaplain Resident A graduate of Lancaster Theological Seminary, Lynne completed her first unit of CPE at Hershey Medical Center. After doing a year of field education at LGH, she joined the team as a chaplain associate. In August 2009, she started a year-long residency program to complete her CPE training. |
