Executive Physicals

The Executive Physical has long been a part of the many services Lancaster General Health Occupational Medicine provides to local businesses. We recognize that the health and productivity of your company’s leaders has a significant impact on success. Executives work long, hectic and often stress-filled hours. These factors put the executive at increased risk for health problems. The cost of losing a company leader to a short-term disability can be very high. An Executive Physical can help identify health issues and incorporate changes which lead to a healthier lifestyle.

Lancaster General Health currently offers an Executive Physical which is performed in two steps. The first visit, which occurs about two weeks prior to the executive’s visit with the physician, includes lab testing, hearing, vision, and pulmonary function testing. All testing results are reviewed by the physician prior to the second visit which includes the physical and private consultation. Once the second visit is completed, the physician prepares a written report for the executive outlining all results and any recommendations for follow-up care with a specialist, lifestyle changes, etc. This confidential report is mailed to the executive with copies of all testing forwarded to the executive’s family physician.
