Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialists

 

Philip M. Bayliss, M.D.

Medical Director

 

Dr. Philip BaylissDr. Bayliss graduated from the Medical College of Virginia; he completed his internship and residency at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center. In 1992, he completed a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the Madigan Army Medical Center. Dr. Bayliss has a medical license from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, as well as the Fetal Medicine Foundation.

 

Dr. Bayliss served 10 years of active duty with the United States Army Medical Corps and as the Director of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at York Hospital from 1994-2003.

 

 

Timothy J. Boley, M.D.

 

Dr. Timothy BoleyDr. Boley graduated from the Medical College of Georgia; he completed his internship, residency and fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the Madigan Army Medical Center. Dr. Boley has a medical license from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, as well as the Fetal Medicine Foundation.

 

Dr. Boley served as Section Head of Perinatology in the Obstetric and Gynecology Service at Eastern Maine Medical Center from 1995 to 2005 and as Chief of Obstetrics at Walter Reed Army Medical Center from 1993-1995.  Dr. Boley also served 15 years of active duty with the United States Army Medical Corps with an additional seven years in the Army Reserves.

 

 

Genetic Counselors

 

Our genetic counselors are board certified by the American Board of Genetic Counselors and hold a master’s degree in human genetics or genetic counseling. Our counselors provide our patients with the latest information in genetic testing and screening options in a personalized easy to understand dialogue.  Each of our counselors is highly trained in family history analysis and genetic risk assessment.

 

 

Ultrasound Technologists

 

Our RDMS certified ultrasound technologists provide concise imaging scans that help our Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialists to asses and diagnose high-risk complications that may occur during pregnancy. Our technologists use state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment to deliver the highest level of accuracy in ultrasound imaging. Each of our technologists is certified by the Fetal Medicine Foundation to perform Nuchal Translucency and Nasal Bone imaging essential to first trimester screening for chromosomal abnormalities.
 


 

Registered Nurses

 

Our registered nurses specialize in Obstetrics and have a unique understanding of the specific needs of  high-risk pregnancy. Our nurses have extensive background experience in Labor & Delivery with specialized training in Electronic Fetal Monitoring. Each nurse provides individualized perinatal patient education that is complimentary to the screenings and monitoring provided in our office.
