Lancaster General–Willow Lakes and Geriatric Associates saw their first patients in August in the new Willow Valley Medical Center complex in Willow Street. The site is located at 212 Willow Valley Lakes Drive, Suite 101.

 

The 26,000 square-foot space was designed to enhance the patient experience and provide more comprehensive care to the patients in this community.

 

Added services include digital mammography and a 16-slice CT scan, with extended hours for ultrasound, and expanded services for pre-operative testing, lab testing and EKGs /Holters. Additionally, physical, occupational, speech and hand therapies have been further enhanced with specialized rehab programs for neurology, spine, balance/vestibular, hand, foot, vision and fibromyalgia.

 

“This is a great opportunity to bring more services to meet the community’s growing needs and design them in a way that enhances the patient experience,” said Teke Drummond, Director of Outpatient Services at Willow Lakes.
