Women’s Giving Circle
Now there is a group for women who want to do more than just make a financial contribution that will help make a difference in the lives of women and children.
The Women’s Giving Circle at Lancaster General Women & Babies Hospital is a group of female donors who want to get involved and play an active role in determining where contributions can have the most positive impact.
Established in 2006, the Women’s Giving Circle has already had an effect on the lives of women and children receiving care at Women & Babies Hospital.
The primary goals outlined by the Women’s Giving Circle are to affect change, to educate and to celebrate.
Membership is open to anyone in the community willing to make an annual commitment of $250 to the Lancaster General HealthCare Foundation. Each member is an equal partner in the decision-making process to determine where Giving Circle contributions are needed most. Members can also make their annual commitment in honor of or in memory of a loved one.
Group meetings include interactive discussions on the physical, mental and financial well-being of women, adding to the dimension of being part of an informed and collaborative group. Through a collective voice, your support will make a lasting impact to serve the needs of Women & Babies Hospital.
Currently, there are 39 members, and there is still time to become a charter member of the group and be added to a plaque that will feature the names of the charter members and placed at Women & Babies Hospital. Charter member donations must be received by May 12, 2008.
