Freedom from Smoking

Freedom from Smoking

If you smoke cigarettes, chances are that you already know it’s bad for your health. Chances are also good that you want to quit. In fact, the American Cancer Society estimates that nearly 70 percent of people who smoke want to quit and close to 35 percent try each year. At Lancaster General, we’re doing what we can to help you overcome this dangerous addiction.

As a founder of the Tobacco-Free Coalition of Lancaster County, we provide leadership by offering programs to help people at all stages of life. One of these programs is our Freedom from Smoking class.
Aimed largely at adults, Freedom from Smoking is a six-week program to help adults who want to stop smoking.

While classes are generally held at the Lancaster General Health Campus, our educators can also bring the Freedom from Smoking program to your business or organization.

Please call 544-3138 for a brochure about our Freedom from Smoking program.
