Established in 1983, Lancaster General Services (LGS) is a family of companies - some are healthcare related, others are not - which are not typically considered non-profit ventures.

For example, LGS owns and manages several rental properties located around Lancaster General Hospital. Another LGS company, Lancaster Diagnostic Imaging, provides MRI services to Lancaster General Hospital. One more example is the LGS company, The Print Shop, which serves as the primary printer for Lancaster General's printing needs.
