1. If there is more than one department in my division, can each department apply…even if my division is generally considered one department? For example, OASIS and Shapedown are all under Wellness.
YES, multiple programs under one division can apply.
2. Can research that is funded by VonHess also be funded by the Foundation?
YES
3. Will I get a debriefing on my full proposal?
YES
4. What if I am late that day? Can my proposal be considered if I file at 4:39 PM?
NO
5. Can the LG HealthCare Foundation grants and resources staff help me write my proposal?
NO. The staff only help with proposals for out-of-system funding.
6. What if I have applied for funding outside the LG System and am waiting to hear. Can I send the same proposal to the Foundation?
YES . However if your proposal is fully funded from an outside source anytime before award of funding in July 2009, you will not be eligible for funding from the LG Foundation.
7. What are your priorities?
We do not have priorities this year; however, the proposals must meet one or all of the following goals: promote new and expanded services, innovative clinical and out-patient care, community benefit and patient access, and educational opportunities for medical staff. We may have priorities in the future.
