The Lancaster General Health Foundation (LGHF) is organized under a board of directors that provides oversight to ensure that funds raised by the Foundation will benefit the Lancaster General Health System and the patients it serves. The Foundation will act as the centralized collection point for all contributions and funding requests for Lancaster General Health and its affiliates.

This private supporting foundation formalizes our already mature fundraising program administered by our Development Office.

Each year, the Lancaster General Health Foundation’s board will identify priorities for giving that are aligned with Lancaster General Health’s strategic plan. They will also report annually on how the Foundation has applied the community’s investments to enhance our facilities, technology and people.
