Children’s Variety Show to Benefit Cleft Palate Clinic
The Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic will host its annual children’s variety show fundraiser, Smiling Faces, for kids and their families on Sunday, March 16 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
The fun-filled event will be held at the American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster. Tickets are $15. When you purchase one, you get the second one free. For tickets, call the Clinic at 394-3793.
Acts performing this year include.
- Jessie & James and “Mutts Gone Nuts” Canine Review – a hilarious husband and wife team and their corps of canine cut ups.
- The Masque Mystique of Larry Hunt – a delightful and surprising combination of masks and puppetry in vignette-style theater.
- Visual Comedian Pete Geist – A Smiling Faces regular, Lancaster’s own Pete Geist will entertain the audience with his crazy stunts and industrial strength antics.
Trox’s Little Band will entertain between acts, and Kay Troxell’s clown troupe will greet you at the door.
Proceeds from the show will benefit the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic, which treats more than 10,000 patients, many who lack the financial resources to pay for their own care.
