New Technique Catches Lymphedema Sooner, for More Successful Treatment

Early detection is the best way to curb the effects of lymphedema, and now the Lymphedema Program can detect its onset in the arm sooner than ever. Project Access: Helping People When They Need It Most

Driven and developed by local physicians, Project Access Lancaster County (PALCO) is designed to help low-income, uninsured people who do not qualify for government assistance. The program encourages patients to build and maintain an ongoing relationship with their healthcare providers so they receive consistent, quality care. No matter what your health interest or concern, there was something for everyone at Lancaster General’s Healthy Living for Life Health Fair Extravaganza on Sept. 23. The Path to a Health Career Starts at the New Lancaster General College Web Site

Taking that first step toward a rewarding career in healthcare just got a whole lot easier. The Lancaster General College of Nursing and Health Sciences launched its new Web site, www.LancasterGeneralCollege.edu, in November, providing organized and useful information that can help prospective students understand their healthcare career choices and find one that is the right fit for them.
