Lancaster General earns ultrasound accreditation

Lancaster General has been accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) for its ultrasound program and its commitment to quality care and patient safety.
The three-year accreditation was based upon the high quality of the images patients receive when they have a general, vascular, or OB/GYN ultrasound performed at any one of seven Lancaster General sites offering ultrasound services.
“High quality images help a patient’s physician diagnose and treat the patient more effectively,” says Donna Bogari, Supervisor, Ultrasound/PV Lab, Radiology.
“The ACR accreditation is your assurance that the staff and equipment at Lancaster General has passed a rigorous review process and meets nationally accepted standards of care,” Donna says.
