Women’s Expressions art auction to benefit heart health
An evening of fine art, fabulous food and women of song will highlight Women’s Expressions 2007, an event to benefit Lancaster General’s Women’s Heart Health program.
On Saturday, April 21, the gala event will be held at the Hamilton Club in Lancaster. Guests that evening will have the opportunity to place silent bids for the nearly 70 pieces of art created by professional and student artists, ranging from oil and watercolor paintings to ceramics, glassware and jewelry.
There will be four performances by female artists in various locations throughout the event, including a jazz vocalist, a woodwind ensemble from the Pennsylvania Academy of Music, a band featuring female vocalists and a contemporary female artist.
Food and drinks will be served at stations in all of the performance locations.
Tickets to this fundraising event are $150 per person, and participation is by reservation only. You can receive your invitation to attend this event by calling Karen Heinle at 544-3650.
Prior to the Gala, all artwork will be on exhibit at Lancaster General Women & Babies Hospital. This exhibit will begin with a Community Open House on April 1 and continue until April 19. The Community Open House and Women's Expressions 2007 exhibit are free and open to the general public.
