Smiling Faces Benefit

Smiling Faces Will Benefit Cleft Palate Clinic

The Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic will host its annual children’s variety show fundraiser, Smiling Faces, on Sunday, March 19, from 2-4 p.m. at the American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster.

Performers this year include:

  • The Tweaksters, who’ll perform their mix of acrobatic dance and artistic juggling, blending athletic creativity with odd objects in a rhythmic performance.
  • Lancaster funnyman and Smiling Faces regular Pete Geist, who’ll amuse the audience with his crazy stunts and antics.
  • Trox’s Little Band, who’ll entertain between acts.
  • WGAL-TV meteorologist Joe Calhoun will emcee the show.

Proceeds benefit the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic, which treats more than 10,000 patients each year. The clinic treats cleft lip, palate and other cranio-facial disorders, regardless of a patient’s ability to pay. The clinic also provides general dentistry, speech therapy and hearing tests.

Tickets are on sale for $12.75 at the theatre, or by calling 397-7700.
