This past year of accomplishments and honors for Lancaster General is one which we share with the entire community:

• Construction is nearing completion on the Lancaster General Orthopedic Center. This new facility represents a collaborative effort among physicians, staff and community members that will establish Lancaster General Hospital as a leader in the early identification, prevention and management of muscle and bone problems.
• U.S. News & World Report named us among the nation’s best hospitals for heart and heart surgery as well as hormonal disorders (diabetes and endocrinology care). Formal recognition by U.S. News & World Report assures patients that LGH offers key medical technologies, achieves quality outcomes and maintains excellent nursing proficiency.
• For the sixth time in seven years, Lancaster General Hospital was named among the 100 Top Hospitals in America by Solucient, one of the leading providers of healthcare information in the country. The 100 Top Hospitals award recognizes institutions that have achieved excellence in quality of care, operational efficiency, financial performance and adaptation to the healthcare environment.
