The Lancaster General Cancer Center emphasizes early detection of many cancers including breast, colorectal and prostate. Because treatment is most effective when cancer is detected in its early stages, we greatly encourage annual physical check-ups and regular cancer screenings. Tests such as mammography and MRI are frequently used to aid in cancer diagnosis and are all available at the Lancaster General Cancer Center.
