The Diabetes Rehab Program is located in the Cardiac Rehabilitation department, which is on the third floor of the Lancaster General Health Campus. Exercise physiologists conduct the program, with assistance from registered nurses. You will be monitored with a three-lead telemetry system, which will help us keep a record of your heart rhythms and rates. You will be able to use state-of-the-art exercise equipment, including:

  • Treadmills
  • Stationary bikes
  • NuSteps

  • Weight machines for leg muscles

The program length is 12 weeks. Class are held Mondays and Wednesdays from 7-8 a.m. or 5-6 p.m. or Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30-3:30 p.m.

If you are interested in the program, contact us. We’ll make an appointment for you to meet the exercise physiologist for an admission interview. At that time, we will discuss the goals, structure and program costs.
