Services include all routine, non-invasive x-rays, CT scans (with oral and/or IV contrast—abdomen & pelvis, abdomen, pelvis, chest, neck, brain) and ultrasound (abdomen, OB, pelvis, all PV studies and most others). Fluoroscopy, IVPs (x-ray examinations of the kidneys, ureters and urinary bladder using iodinated contrast material injected into the veins), angiographic studies, cardiac studies, nuclear medicine and invasive procedures (biopsies, myelograms, amniocentesis) are not offered at the Downtown Pavilion but may be scheduled at Lancaster General Hospital and (for some procedures) Lancaster General Health Campus.

Services include EKGs, coagulation checks, glucose testing, I-Stat (for glucose testing), homocysteine challenge tests and blood work (including heel sticks for infants and foot sticks per doctor’s request). Appointments and walk-ins welcome.

Electrophysiology (EP) Clinic patients should report to the Downtown Pavilion for labs on their clinic day. EP patients who don’t go through Clinic should report to the Medical Outpatient Unit (MOPU) on the second floor of Lancaster General Hospital and park in the James Street parking garage.

Cardiac Cath Lab Patients, Medical Outpatients, Endoscopy, AM Admits and other same day procedures: do not report to lab testing on the day of your procedure. All same-day pre-procedure testing will be performed in the respective hospital unit, not in the Downtown Pavilion. Parking is available in the James Street garage. Free valet service is also available.

Pre-admission testing in advance of the actual date of the procedure will be performed in the new Downtown Pavilion laboratory testing facility. Parking is available in the new Duke Street garage on the ground floor.

Services include amputee rehabilitation, geriatric rehabilitation, orthopedic rehabilitation, neuro-musculoskeletal evaluation and treatment including spinal health program and hand therapy.

Cardiothoracic Surgeons of Lancaster are the exclusive providers of open heart surgery at Lancaster General. Their new location at the Downtown Pavilion features a more spacious waiting room and larger patient examination rooms. This practice consists of three surgeons, three physician assistants and five support staff.

The new location of Pulmonary Associates of Lancaster (PAL) features a large nursing station and private areas for test scheduling. There is also a convenient new treatment room for small procedures that patients previously had to complete in the hospital. This practice features eleven exam rooms—each with oxygen access, six physicians, one physician assistant and 15 office staff.

Services include full PFT testing including spirometry, lung volume measurements, diffusion measurements, blood gas analysis, asthma inhalation challenge studies and pulmonary exercise stress testing.

12-bed sleep center for full range of outpatient diagnostic and therapeutic testing including nocturnal sleep studies and diurnal multiple sleep latency testing.

Lancaster General Family Health Services, including North Duke Family Medicine, provides comprehensive health care for the entire family—including maternity and OB services. The new location features a reception area where patients can sign in and be directed to one of three office areas, or pods. Each pod has a waiting area and 11 exam rooms managed by a faculty teaching physician and mid-level providers and student resident physicians from the Lancaster General Family Medicine Residency Program. An improved electronic medical record system allows for faster registration and measuring of vital signs, for a smoother, more efficient patient experience.

The Downtown Pavilion is the new home of the family medicine residency program at Lancaster General and features a conference area that holds up to 50 people for educational programs. Student resident physicians participate in patient care at the Family Health Services practice also located on the third floor.
