The Children’s Health unit realizes that parents have needs too, and sometimes practical, daily needs are difficult to meet when spending so much time away from home. The following conveniences are available for parents of inpatients:

• Thirteen single patient rooms with accommodations for one parent to stay the night.
• Complimentary continental breakfast every morning on the unit.
• Lunch and dinner selections from a guest menu, with meals delivered to your child’s room.
• Use of the telephone in your child’s room for local and operator assisted calls.
• A gift shop for personal items is located in the hospital lobby.

To accommodate parents of inpatients and outpatients, the following conveniences are available:

• A variety of foods and beverages in the hospital’s cafeteria, located on the ground level.
• Assorted snacks in the vending area located on the lobby level, near the Gift Shop.
• VCR’s can be found in all rooms with a wide selection of tapes.
• Newspapers at the main entrance to the hospital and outside the cafeteria.
• A meditation room is available for your use 24 hours a day. It’s located on the first floor behind the information desk.
