What to Expect
Prior to your initial visit, you will receive family history and risk factor questionnaires. These forms need to be completed so that we can evaluate important information about you and arrange visits tailored to you personal situation.
At your first visit, you will meet with a genetic oncology nurse or geriatric counselor who will review the information you have provided and gather additional information as necessary. You will learn the significance of risk factors and find out about the roles of genes, inheritance and genetic testing as they relate to your family history.
