Prior to your first visit:
- Family history and risk factor questionnaires will be sent to you to help plan for your first visit.
First visit:
- You will meet with a genetic oncology nurse or genetic counselor to review your information.
- You will learn about risk factors and genetic variables.
After your first visit:
- We will help you obtain additional helpful information.
- We will review your case with the multidisciplinary team at the Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania.
- The team will make recommendations for further participation in research.
Second visit:

You will meet with a medical oncologist as well as a genetic oncology nurse or genetic counselor.

We will review your results with you and answer your questions.

We will share our recommendations with you regarding genetic testing.

If you decide on genetic testing, blood may be drawn at this visit.
