Continuing Medical Eduction (CME)
LGH offers a variety of continuing medical education opportunities for healthcare professionals, covering a range of specialties.  Please see the CME Calendar for a current listing of events.
 
Mission Statement

The mission of the continuing medical education program at Lancaster General Hospital is to: (1) Facilitate quality and relevant medical education for regional and staff physicians in order to enhance the physician's abilities to provide efficient and effective health care as well as provide opportunity for professional interaction and networking. and (2) Impact organizational goals of Lancaster General Hospital and other Lancaster General affiliates through education linked with performance improvement initiatives at the process or organization level. 

Accreditation

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Pennsylvania Medical Society and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).  The Lancaster General Hospital is accredited by the Pennsylvania Medical Society to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

CME Credit Designation

The Lancaster General Hospital designates these educational activities for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim credit.

Faculty and all others who have the ability to control the content of continuing medical education activities sponsored by Lancaster General Hospital are expected to disclose to the audience whether they do or do not have any real or apparent conflict(s) of interest or other relationships related to the content of their presentation(s).
