Blood donation takes about an hour and involves a few simple steps:

Medical History - When you arrive to donate, you will complete a health history questionnaire that will be reviewed by a nurse. You will be asked about past illnesses, general health and medications.

Mini-Physical - The nurse checks to make sure your blood pressure, temperature, pulse and hematocrit are acceptable.

Donation - Giving blood only takes 10-12 minutes. As you donate, you will rest comfortably in a reclining chair.

Recharge - Before you leave, you will have the chance to relax for a few minutes and enjoy some light refreshments.
